About Garça Branca
The Garça Branca is the ancestral home of our Bokem Mascarenhas Family, a 180 year old, modernized, ancestral estate situated in the lovely and expansive village of Loutolim, South Goa, India, by the banks of the river Zuari, in the valley of the Konkan Mountain range and weather influence of the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea. It has a genealogical history that has been traced back to the mid-1800s.

We are surrounded by the River Zuari, the Konkan Hills, the 1580 Rachol Seminary, Our Lady of Snows 1615, Restaurant Nostalgia, the commercial Capital of Margao, Nehru Football Stadium, the ancestral homes of Miranda(1615), Alvares(1765), Figuiredo(1615), Menezes-Braganza(1565), Braganza House(1560) Ancestral/Big Foot, restaurants Anoshkha, Archie, the oldest chapel in South Goa Our Lady of Miracles(1567), the Chowgule Shipyards, the Borim Bridge, 100 species of indigenous and migratory birds and some 50 species of butterfly.
